Texas Star Cookers is a non-profit bar-b-que cook-off team made up of Deputy Sheriff’s, friends and family. The team joined together in 2006 to help raise money for charitable organizations in the South Texas Area. The team only attends charitable events hosted by various organizations to assist them in the raising of monies for women’s shelters, Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, Emergency Medical Personnel and their families and scholarships awarded to FFA and 4H students in the South Texas Area.
